If I hear it I ask myself 3 questions in this order.
Can I park somewhere? (Yes, sweet)
Have I showered yet today?(no, gross)
Do I have time right now or will it make me late?( I'm almost always early)
Then I take a shower cause I probably have a free one.

I still think they should add in their little recording “Professional drivers, we now have no wait for a shower, please park your truck NOT IN A FUEL AISLE, and come inside bla bla bla..”

Well, they do have that patronizing female announcer saying "Attention professional drivers, as a courtesy to other drivers, please pull forward when you have finished fueling. Thank you!" Perhaps they need to change it to "Attention professional drivers and you steering wheel holders..." to be more inclusive.

Ha!! Yea no kidding. “Anyone in a truck when you’re done fueling move your ### out of the way.”

Is that like something that gets talked about on Coast To Coast AM?

Back in the day we used to have to wait for a shower......... way back
    when drivers took showers.

Now a days so few drivers take showers so there is usually no waiting.

I have a theory on that........when I started driving being home every
weekend was unheard of. Drivers truly lived on the road... never knew
when we would get home. Now with the 34HR restart rule and with many
companies going to the regional type routes drivers know they will be home
on the weekend so they just wait and shower at home.

I agree with that whole heartedly. I’m one of em. I leave out Monday, I’m usually through the house Wednesday, and I park it Friday about midnafternoon. I run an end dump so it’s not a terrible amount of physical labor. If I can hack it I’d rather just shower at my house, rather than rent-a-foot disease at a truck stop.

You forgot having to supply your own mints, and filling out the little card that says . . .

“This shower was cleaned by @Old Man , please look in the mirror if there are any complaints “
