No collision (if you don’t owe on the equipment). Would lower the cost too. -
Call some insurance brokers and let them quote you premiums. Like everyone has stated, they vary a lot. I'd also be looking into how you're going to finance this adventure, based on the amount you've saved up, I'd keep saving first. Those are your two biggest challenges. Once you get past that finding customers is not hard and using brokers is the easy way out.

Progressive makes it easy to get commercial coverage and will insure new drivers as well as new authority. However, they are the most expensive insurance for commercial coverage for even 10+ years drivers. If you have less than 3 years commercial driving experience, Progressive may be your only option because most will not pass underwriting.
Insurance is the biggest hurdle for your DOT Authority. Once you get insured, you will be able to book loads with most brokers because they only care about your company's safety ratings. -
Progressive currently isn't writing policies on drivers with new authority, at least not here in California. Called them a couple weeks ago and that's what I was told.
