They can falsify all they want. (Failed drug test or road test) Nah that’s pure BS.HireRight risks dealing with another class action lawsuit if they don’t verify. Companies are gun shy these days about arbitrarily posting whatever they want about a driver on a HireRight transcript. Since HireRight was the subject of not one but two class action lawsuits. Also it is your responsibility to stay vigilant when it comes to what’s being said about you. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS! FIGHT BACK!

HireRight falls under the same fair credit reporting act guidelines, as credit agencies so you have a right to dispute erroneous entries made by the company. Depending on the burden of proof, you can have false entries removed. You are entitled to one free transcript per year.

Also you were a victim of the “bait n switch” you’re a rookie so you’re not well versed in this industry yet. But you do have a Class A CDL and if Paschall hired you? Then I’ll assume you have a clean driving record. If that’s the case then you won’t have much difficulty getting a job driving someone’s semi. Please. The market right now is practically begging for drivers. Get out there and get another job. Let me recommend smaller companies. No mega carriers. Good luck to you

Companies citing failed drug tests or road tests as the reason for your being discharged, must provide evidence. They can’t just make the claim.

    She's from GA.

Hang in Curdog, things will get better. I "think" Millis has SE regional.

Millis has a terminal in Cartersville, GA (maybe 30 or so miles North of Atlanta? and right next to I-75) and they do run regional out of there.

I see J.B. Hunt isn’t the only one apparently well versed in this trick.

They probably do have regional , but they need OTR drivers since thats where the turnover is greatest. Many companies lie to get you to orientation & then hope you'll just accept OTR. Even regional recruiting will sell you a load of lies like wknds off, then they get you home on friday nite & have you back on sunday.
They wouldn't do it if it didn't work, so they must have some success with this bait & switch.

Yeah I caught that part, but the state covers a lot of ground. Regional gig suggestions for someone that lives in Albany vs. someone that lives in Athens could be very different.

Recruiters are just that. They are paid to bring bodies in to the company. They are like car salesmen, they tell you what you want to hear. I have learned to ask for someone beyond a recruiter to find out the whole story or at least more then some empty promises.

It would help if we know where in Georgia she lives. Schneider and some others have local/regional all over Georgia.
