Was being serious. The whole idea is to end the suffering as fast as possible. Obviously a bullet is the best way, but if you don't have one handy thou have to improvise. One solid blow with a 2lb hammer will send a screwdriver through the brain stem. Thats as close to instant death as you can get without a gun.

I don't have the stomach for that. I reported it to the local sheriff's office.whoopNride Thanks this. -
I was also going to ask what gears you were running. Not sure I'd want a 10 speed, though.
I'd be curious if anyone was running a 6x2 open deck also. -
I know a few right here at mercer.

Speaking of Coordinators my new one gets an A++ he does not call me with junk he has grabbed me two shot hops just over 300 miles @ $3.13 a mile. with the exception of getting away from the house and getting out of Massachusetts next Monday all my loads have been above $2.40 a mile most way above. I took a load to Massachusetts @ $2.75 a mile pickup Friday I was scheduled to empty out this morning next thing I know he’s calling me with a 87 mile load paying $575 to fill in the gap he keeps this up and I might forget how load board works (never) at the very least him and his wife or girlfriend are going to Texas Road House on me next time I am in LouisvilleTruckerPete1990, Highway Sailor, Razorwyr and 1 other person Thank this.

How are they liking it?

From what they tell me just fine. But it takes a bit of common sense. Things like dont wait till you get stuck to lift the dummy axle. If the drive axle starts spinning don't just hammer on it and dig a hole to China. Make sure you have tow pins for your truck and a long tow strap. You will need pulled out of a job site on occasion. Its just a matter of when and how often. But that goes with tandem drives as well.

Common sense stuff.
I had to reangle my truck this morning after being unloaded to get out of a place. The axles were set just right that even when I locked the drives it didn't want to move. -
Three years have not been towed some time close but I pull a van no construction site

I've been hearing similar things about Paccar engines. I'm thinking of getting a usedT680 with a Paccar, but I'm not sure how far back I could safely go, without having to worry too much about reliability. Could I go with a 2014, or would I need to look at 2015 or 2016?RStewart Thanks this.
