My favorite part about this is that y’all giving him credit for “lasting” it still hasn’t even been a year. He wants a big giant pat on the back for lasting 6 months and he consistently comes back to old threads where he works because god forbid somebody else is happy there.

They still bragging about 10% of their drivers make 50k a year?
I wouldn't trust the Marsh family farther than you can throw them. Though elds probably cut down on the majority of their 395 violations. -
You must consider that over 70% of our drivers go home every weekend. This greatly affects your income with an irregular route regional carrier.
tucker Thanks this. -
Yeah they said that BS 10 years ago. Lots of folks around here home on weekends and for more than that 34 hour break they "allow" you.
Hell HUB group, IKE, Nationwide Express, RE West hell that guy on the corner of 41 and 64 is probably a better deal. Goggins has local guys off on weekends earning 45k.
But hey everyone has to start in this industry somewhere.Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this. -

I’m not bashing your carrier, or any other directly, but I’m home every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and I’m making $80k+/yr delivering for Bridgestone, and that’s with a little over 2 1/2 yrs driving experience. Companies in general that want to keep guys on the road for weeks/months at a time and pay them in the ballpark of $50k/yr are despicable. There are far too many gigs paying in the $60-70k range and home on weekends for guys with a couple clean years for anyone outside of newbies to make $50k annually. Just my opinion and again, not bashing you, your company or anyone in particular.Dark_Majesty_06, bigred81, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this.

You're missing the point of my posting that I'm here this long...it isn't boasting or bragging. I'm not wanting a pat on the back, recognition or congratulations...I do it simply to show the fact that people like you, who don't know squat about me, come on here and insinuate that I will be complaining and hopping to another job within months...and I am simply showing how wrong you and the others are...and rub the noses of the naysayers in the fact that they were WRONG... Besides, if I didn't come on this thread once in a while and stir it up, it wouldn't get any attention and stagnate and die...
The fact that I have bounced around a bit lately isn't how my whole driving career has been. 17 of my 23 years out here were spent at 2 companies. Like @mxpx148 said, many companies are garbage anymore...and it seems I have to go thru a few before I find a decent one, but once I find a good one, I stay. Unfortunately, when I research a company I am interested, I get too many that have guy's like Tow that won't post the negative as well as the positive, so it gives a false impression. When I post the negative on a thread about a company like this (that I am working for, or have worked for) it is to bring a realistic view of the company to light. It isn't to bash people, unless they get insulting or insinuate things about me that aren't correct. That's the problem with this politically correct world, people can't handle the truth if it doesn't match their rah-rah happy happy, joy joy feelings of a company. And all I did was point out that there are a lot of drivers at Big G that have a much different experience than Tow is having.Last edited: May 7, 2018
Metallica88, Dark_Majesty_06 and tucker Thank this. -
I make in the 60s and choose to come home every other weekend for 3 days. I have tried those so called high paying companies and found they do not pay what they say.
But i am quite content here.48Packard Thanks this. -
Yeah I had forgotten they sold out. Did they keep the IKE pay structure or go to Big G's.
