So trans am has fifth wheel cameras now...

How about a camera looking out the windshield and the driver could close the curtains and legally log off duty while driving and looking at a monitor screen/ never run out of legal hours.

 

They pay .32 cpm? How do they find drivers?

 

On second thought it seems the back up camera is useful for a tow hitch.
But not a tractor backing to a trailer that is 48 or 53 foot long.

Or they could issue hard hats.

 

I think Schneider already does that.

 

They pick up at a lot of paper mills where hard hats are required. And be honest....who wants to wear a loaner given the hygienic habits of some drivers? That’s one reason I have my own.
