I know you need a battery cover; if it is intact, and not part of that fairing. its a good thing.
I broke a fiberglass half fender once, and took a 3" strip of a plastic barrel, cut it into 6" long pieces,
And held it under the fender across the break, drilled in self tapping sheet metal screws, 2 per rib,
into and thru these pieces, like support ribs. Put about 8 of these across underneath
to support and strengthen the broken off piece, like a form, or a jig.
Got fiberglass resin and filled in the crack all the way down.
(I had to take the fender off to lay it down flat. so resin didn't just run off.) Wait until hard.
Removed the screws and filled the holes. Looked pretty good; used body putty to finish smooth.
It's worth a try, if you think its save-able and you don't want to buy new/used one. Worked for me.

That sounds like the "gotta have white sheets in your bunk" story!snowlauncher Thanks this.

#### DOT they all can go to hell
-
They are serious up there. Last time I was thru there, they were making drivers take a dump in a five gallon bucket. Something about checking them for worms. I haven't been back!!!snowlauncher and DSK333 Thank this.

Now that's not true;
they were just going fishing
and short of bait.whoopNride and misterG Thank this. -
That must have been many moons ago. There is a new method they use to check for worms. It is much more...invasive, shall we say. Akin to what few have come forward with their experiences when beings from other worldly planets abducted them in order to study humans. (their experiment).
I still go across Nomansland with some regularly. I always stop and say a prayer before I run the gauntlet- and only under cover of darkness. So far they have not been able to track my movements closely enough to catch me. I fear it is only a matter of time. I breathe a sigh of relief, turn the radio and the chicken lights back on, when I reach the dysfunction junction in Fargo.Last edited: May 13, 2018
Reason for edit: Sigh of relief not signDSK333 and whoopNride Thank this. -
I just remembered. Revenue week is coming up. I will have to up the ante should I need to pass during this time. A blood sacrifice usually is enough. However....they do get stronger every year. Perhaps I will stay on my side of the fence this year and take my chances with bigfoot by day and the chupacabra by night.

God you guys, if I had all these problems, I would spend more time paying fines and having trucks out of service than I would making money.
You have a 1% chance of being caught with any state DOT and if they take pictures and compare what's on one side against another to find issues, they need to find other jobs because they are not serving the state as they are supposed to. -
Tell us how you really feel.

I remember them giving their fatigue quizzes 10 years ago or so. They would peek inside your truck and if they found a Hustler magazine, they would count it towards your fatigue status. They would consider you even more fatigued, if some urine jars were found there too or if they could smell the arm pits...so on so on.DSK333 Thanks this.
