I didn't see any friction mats under these coils today, however the driver did you three coil racks per coil.

Boyd has been bought out themselves bun daseke.

Many coil racks have friction mats attached to the bottom of them. You won't see them when the racks are against the deck.
-
Got a link or supplier on those? Just for curiosity sake.

Nope. I could swear I've seen them online before, but I just searched a few of the places I've looked at coil racks and I couldn't find any that seemed to have them.
Our company uses heavy duty coil racks with attached friction mats. I'm not sure if we set those up ourselves or if we bought them that way. I've also seen guys using the more standard coil racks with rubber on the bottom, but I've never asked them where they got them...
I can get pictures of the ones you use if you like, and next time I'm up at the yard I can ask where ours come from or if we set them up. -
Well I guess I get to eat some crow. I could have sworn I'd seen some for sale that way, but I can't find anything online. The shop says we've been buying racks and putting the friction mats on ourselves.Lepton1 Thanks this.

P&S owns a total of 18 companies. All P&S drivers know proper securement as its part of orientation. Some just don't do as they should. And that's very costly.
