CDL Upgrade...?

alot of the propane, home heating oil trucks are straight truck tankers...which I belive require hazmat and tanker?

 

Wow Tanker is N here in GA. I had TN on my permit. Did haz on test day for the license now have TX.

I dont know...dont have Tanker...or any endorsement actually...I would just think that straight truck tankers would require the tanker endorsement, no? if someone is sure on this, speak up..lol..thx

 

yes, tanker and if one hauls home heating oil or propane or diesel fuel, or jet fuel, hazmat is required as well.

 

Did you do In-Cab Airbrake Test on your road test?

 

As old as the thread is, the OP and anyone who replied may not be around. I had to go to DMV in Arleta today, so I asked an examiner. He said to go from a Class B to a Class A, you have to take the written, all written endorsements, even if you already have them, perform a complete pre-trip, which includes the in-cab air brake test, and a road test. Hope this helps.
