Yeah imma use boasso fuel card.. So Gulf States and Boasso the same company.. lol.. i been looking for trucks with Boasso on the side..

 

Gulf states was the former name I believe. I'm honestly shocked QC didn't try and putt the O/O's on the fuel stabilization program.

Boasso America Corporation DBA Gulf States Intermodal, the Boasso America part is just small writing, December 7 will be my 3rd year here, did two as a company driver
Using their fuel card, after the first check, they take out $50/week, until you have an escrow of $1000 incase you quit, that'll cover fuel expenses you may owe, but if you quit, you'll get it back, don't know, haven't quit yet, you can get tags through them, 1500/year, they'll take another $50/week, until its paid and you have option to have prepay for upcoming year that way it'll be taken out or wait until then have them take it out the next year.
They make O/O get annual inspections every quarter.. guess to make sure you stay on top of it

 

They tried, but others like me, said we weren't paying an extra $30-40 at the pump per fuel to make someone else in the company happy, a few drivers did, then after a month they didnt get any savings so they quit and went to going to the cheapest places, we usually run the same area, so know the best place to get fuel

Yeah, they started that this year, every month you get tests on tablet, you can drag the bar at bottom of video to near the end then do the tests, (I didn’t tell you that ) but if they’re done every month, no accidents, paperwork turned in like it should, it’s a $1000 bonus at 1 year mark, it’s like 2 weeks after hire on date and after taxes it’s like $750
