I talked to a guy at corporate last week, he said they were leaving Mack getting KWs, I seen a couple Volvo’s, but they’re going to get some Freightliners, don’t know what engines, but I know the Mack’s have MP8 and they’ll pull, but run 67 cruise 70/71 foot, but they never said anything about idleing when I was company driver, I idled all but about a week in a year, I can’t sleep when I hear people setting brakes besides me so I usually leave one run, now I just use my apu.

etro, back to using my fuel card, I’ll just send them an envelope full of receipts every quarter, already write my miles on receipts anyway, they’re way, as I see it, to be able to take away 19.82% from the fuel surcharge, what it’d have been the last week on mine anyway, I fuel at 2.94/gallon and get $0.02/gallon to an amazon gift card, they want to pay $3.29, get it for 3.24 cash price and give you a mug while they’re silently bending you over your fuel tank

Im preparing to lease to the savannah terminal I was surprised that I was going to get their bonus coming from quality carriers. anybody has experience with that one?

I have pulled out of the Garden City terminal for a week, I didnt have any problems, kept me busy, dont know any of their drivers by name, met two at tetminal, one was company driver in daycab, seemed ok,
But we got drivers leaving our terminsl to go to QC, and theyre getting a sign on bonus, kinda strange too, I thought -
Yeah I'm just doing it for the hometime, everything I have been hearing during the transition is that because they run different dot numbers a lot of people are just switching back and forth for the bonuses(boasso 15k in one year, qc 18k in one year they both fall under quality distribution ) as long as the money is good aiming at 1500 to 2k a week being home daily I can live with that.

Im sure that can be done easily there, its is here at memphis, i try to make all i can, had a discussion earlier where i worked out of Mobile terminal and worked saturday to deliver a load in Decatur, didnt have it on my check because my terminal manager didnt send it to Mobile terminal, after I called to ask if he did, he said yes, and on trip sheet i had it wrote when i turned it into box 9/29/18 at 12:23 pm, i came very close to quitting because that cost me $1200 load not on this check, but they did show the minus from the fuel it cost me off their fuel card, now i got to wait another week for my money.
Im highly disappointed at the whole operation right now, as im sure anyone would be.
I grossed on this check $5027 and change, still owed $1200, minus right at $2000 for fuel, but I ran 3250 miles
