If you had the CAT Scale App on your phone you just weight, pay the scale fee on the app, it will show you your weights, and you can adjust from there, need to reweigh, just do it with the phone app. I will go inside and grab a printed scale ticket if I need one.

 

Is the time frame the same with the app? Like 24hrs using same scale at same place?

 

I am not sure, I always resolve any weight issues before I reweigh, which is either a slide of the tandems in the parking lot, or I get it reworked and I am back in a few hours. I found this on the CAT Scale website:
A reweigh for $2.00 may be charged, after the first weigh, if all of the following are true:

1. Same vehicle (tractor and trailer),
2. Full price ticket is presented by the customer and its number is recorded on the reweigh ticket,
3. Reweigh must be from the same scale as the full priced ticket,
4. Reweigh must be within 24 hours of the full priced ticket.

Only problem with the app is if your company wants you to turn in recipt in order not to be charged for the comdata charge. (One of the many reasons I am looking for a better company)

 

The receipts were automatically sent via email. I just a took a screen shot of them opened on the phone and submitted them.

 

True. But my company has it linked directly to the fuel card. So I don't have bother with any of that. I still go in to get the tickets so I can see what truck pics are on the cards...

 

Me too that's my favorite part it's like Christmas getting a new card lol.

 

The lady at the Joplin,MO scales is very mean. She Yelled at me thru thru the outside speaker about the little stop line. Geeez SOOORRRYYY! Well Excuuuuuse ME!

 

Wow how mean. But what if it Rains on the stop line and u cant see it!!!
