Do you have a pulse? If so pretty much any truck company that hires inexperienced drivers will hire you. Its a sellers market for employment right now.drvrtech77 Thanks this.

Kind of figured that, now im just looking for best hometime and pay.
-
You can make real good money with Schneider Bulk, which is the tanker division. A hard charger can take home over a grand a week. Schneider will pay for cdl school and tanker school. You'll have to pass a hair follicle drug test.

Not trying to blow smoke, but my neighbor has been with them 25 years. He is up to .55 a mile and making $1500 a week. Like many places, you prove your worth you get paid. His retirement account is bulging. Owns a 2008 Vette and a 2017 F150 turbo.

Whats his home time like?
-
It was every 10 days. Now he moved over to Gates and is home weekly. Team driver.
-
Schneider tanker division gets 6 days off a month, you put in for it whatever days you want through Qualcomm, can do all six at once or three off at a time every two weeks
-
Does he own his own home as well?

I can second this. My younger Brother has been with them awhile. He does Jet Set. He is flown to the west coast...cities vary, he is given a new single axle Cascadia lightweight and hauls wiggle wagons up and down the coast for YRC I believe. Than they fly him back, home. He stays 21 days, travel is included in those 21 days, and is off a solid 7 days. He had 12 weeks off last year, plus 3 weeks vacation I think...so 15 total.
If you stay around, they have many excellent "dedicated" business..... I'm not talking Dollar General crap....that is SNI "A" ball league. Hauling toilet paper to see if you can keep the truck outta the ditch. So many new drivers wanna get to the big league outta school.....SNI Recruiters are just like scouts, searching everywhere too find that one golden arm, or a Babe Ruth, etc..... most never make it to AA ball.... they get their one year and move on to another A ball company and continue to complain and ask about pay and home time.
Do your research and dig down the rabbit hole.... BTW.... my brother was a Job Jumper.....about 6 years ago I saw his work history....OMG, it was PAGES long! But he grew up along the way....He started in 1987 driving for Danny Herman....SNI was about the last company he "didn't" work for...lol. And with about 25 years of driving....SNI started him as an OTR rookie!! .... Somehow he STUCK, or ran outta places to go he hadn't worked.... I dunno. But he had skills....and no accidents, one ticket in all those years.... I think he found so many jobs cuz of two things.... he never asked what his home time was gonna as his first question, and he told them what he could do for the company. He just got a hair up his ### too quick....and didn't do it for long.MilkyJay Thanks this.
