yep!! Thanks to all the crybabies complaining about the past IOS updates and how Apple slowed down the older phones by a few milliseconds to avoid battery issues with the new updates.
Well, Apple listened and with the last update my battery life has plummeted.
So my phone is alledgely a few nanoseconds faster but the battery last 6 less hours.
    Winning?

If you delete the little Debbie donut app the battery life doubles.
    Just saying...

You just need to replace the battery...oh wait, you have to take it to Apple for that...maybe it's time to upgrade to Android.

This and make sure you don’t have a ton of apps open in the background. Also if not needed I turn my WiFi off, that way it’s not constantly searching for WiFi hookups. You can get into your email settings, and turn “Push” off and then “Fetch” off or set the increment. It’s under setting and then accounts. It’s kind of buried. But it won’t always be constantly searching for new emails. This has helped me.

I haven't allowed any updates in over a year. In the last 6 weeks my battery is drained at a extremely quick rate. No apps open, wifi off, you name it in doing it. Typing this little message out it has dropped 2%

And when I plug it in, more often than not, it jumps 20-30% immediately .....???

    cke and tucker Thank this.

    How old is the phone?

That’s a sign of an old one with the battery wearing out.

Most flagship phones come with battery sealed inside. Only cheaper phones have the removable battery now. Might be an exception

I have a good phone and battery, it’s just every other update Apple configured the updates for the model we were using to insure we all had good battery life.
Then the crybabies complained about the differences :(
Apple is still the best phone made.

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.
