Had a needle biopsy done to check my lymphoma in my abdomen. A little uncomfortable to say the least. Ct guided biopsy.
TruckerPete1990 Thanks this. -
I had one done a few years ago. Yes it hurts. Doesnt matter if it hurts, you get it done. The other option is playing Russian roulette.

Any of you guys that book your own loads have a list of agents to try and steer clear of? Basically ones whom you’ve had multiple bad experiences with. Also is it possible to use other load boards if freight seems light somewhere, if so how do you do it?
-
I think each of us has different experiences, based on different expectations, with the agents. So you really need to compile your own list from your own experiences. As far as booking outside loads it very rarely happens, if ever. You probably would need to find an agent that would book that load for you to have any chance of doing so. It is not like some other companies that just allow you to book freight off a load board all on your own (if the broker is approved of course). Many agents have access to a lot more freight than they will ever post, because there are not enough trucks in the area. Calling ahead can often get you a load in what is "assumed" to be a dead area. The earlier you call the better the chance of a timely reload.thaistick and flatbedsv77 Thank this.

Also, if you did somehow manage to book a brokered load you will not get advance money on it, and will not get paid until Mercer receives payment, which could range from a couple weeks to never at all.

Me personally, I do not. I have joked with @RStewart about a particular agent was "blacklisted" but it wasn't because of anything shady or bad experiences it was more about that they deal with a lot of broker freight and never update the board to pull the old/gone loads down; so its frustrating to call them and its like 90% of the time the load isn't good...Big John Classic HQ, roshea and flatbedsv77 Thank this.

That makes sense. Ive heard that some agents don’t post all the freight they have access to and that some guys get loads directly from brokers before it ever hits the board. I guess I have to just keep paying my dues and building relationships. Thanks for the imput Roshea
