It’s about 5-7 depending on how big they are. They load quick and unload quick. The maximum I’ve waited is 3 hours and that’s because I was 4th in line.
The biggest problem is the trailer drop yard. Check your tires, and the lights. One time I was told to drop my empty, and pick up the loaded trailer. Loaded trailer had 2 tires that came off the rim and the landing gear was a couple inches below the mud. I took pictures, and sent it to my company. It took them 2hrs to respond back and by that time, I was already parked bobtail in Walmart doing my 10 lol.
The next day, the trailer was put into a good spot for me to pick up with new tires on them.

Oh yes. Some of those paper plants have varying sizes. If it's about 44000 and it's the huge rolls, then it be like 5 or 6. They're aren't difficult to scale at all, most of those plants have a scale. If it's 44000, I'll usually haul those in 8th or 9th hole and it'll be legal. There are times where I had it too far back and been able to haul it in 6th, but usually it will be two different sizes of rolla in theremattymatt Thanks this.

You're right about the quick loading and unloading. There are a couple of international papers that suck, like the one in Texas off US 59, I forget the citymattymatt Thanks this.

Okay, that sounds good that loading and unloading is usually quick. I'll make certain to do a really good pre-trip on the trailer to hopefully lessen the chances of road problems.

Not that difficult. They will always tell you to slide your tandems to the back before loading. I think the warehouses have mini scales to weigh the paper before loading.
You will either have the short paper rolls where it’s 10 or 15. And the big gigantic paper rolls where it’s about 5-7.mattymatt Thanks this. -
Thanks for all your input guys. I'm feeling better about this now.

I dont haul paper cause it's cheap and heavy.

Do you know what to look for in a damaged side wall or floor? Cracks in the floor, missing hinges and bolts under the trailer. Dents, loose or missing brackets inside the trailer. These paper rolls will bust out of your trailer like a new born baby.
driverdriver, Dave_in_AZ and mattymatt Thank this. -
Yes, I do. I would be concerned also about a roll over. Looks like you gotta be real careful.
