Taking it back to the shipper is a joyful trip.

The yelling will begin at your company because they did not listen to you that morning prior to your decision to snap and take it on back that way.

If there is a lesson anywhere in my life, it is this.

No one in supervisory positions of authority or power of any kind EVER LISTENS to what I have to say BEFORE there is a problem. (And there WILL BE.....)

When I am 300 miles out on the way back to the shipper, THEY WILL walk through fire to do whatever it takes to listen to me carefully now.

    WHAT a waste.

And you wonder why I get angry with suits and dispatchers sometimes. I talk to them and they hear nothing. wawawawa like charlie browns teacher or something. Until I finally have the bawls to follow through on doing something to solve the problem on my own, even if it's going back to the shipper.

Costco hands down are the best Imo. Kroger, C&S, Sysco, SpartanNash, Americold, Pilgrims pride, and many more suck. Wal Mart is decent I never have any issue with them.

+1 on Costco. I'd do reefer stuff again if all the receivers could be Costco.

The worst State to deliver to is Georgia. Every time I go there its 7 or more hours to get unloaded. Doesnt matter what facility but they dont like white drivers. One of their own will get in and unloaded quickly but anyone else will be ignored and made to wait.

And they play games. They say they called you and gave you a door but they never did, nothing on my cp. Then you bring it to their attention and you go to the back of the line.

The other State Ive had problems in is North Carolina. Food Lion, Case Farms etc...

I went to a BJ’s for the first time today. I was actually 2hrs late but got right in and was out in about 2hrs. Best part of it though, is the Burlington, NJ location has a shower if a driver wants/needs one. I needed one. I’d go back there.
