Big Loads - Post Photos Number 2

My adventure for the next few days.

 

Working with a pilot I’ve never used before on this run. Touring old Route 66 between Tulsa & Okie City. So far not bad, she’s not over talkative & at least she has a pleasant voice when she does talk.

 

I had one that would call out every 5 mph drop in speed during a good climb. I ended that quickly....

 

I missed the shot when I was going the other way Saturday. There a half dozen more on trailers then. Can't imagine the fun moving that entails, even in Broadus, MT.

 

Speaking of home movers....

I used to live not too far from there. that bridge that was on the right without a road going to it has been in place since about 2002 but Alabama never did any work towards four laning US98 until about 8 years ago and that was haulted. after about 5 or 6 years they finally restarted work but are only doing 2 lanes of it for now. When finished, whenever that may be, it will be a divide four lane like in Mississippi that will connect with exit 13 on I65 north of Mobile in Saraland. The current US98(moffet road) at exit 5.
