Ya, I've had my 8 footers out maybe 3 or 4 times times year, not in a hurry to get them out either. Mine are 2 piece, heavy...

I'll 4 foot all day long though.

Yes I do. You'll have to keep your logs on an electronic device but it won't be hooked to your truck like elogs is. It's basically paper logs that you do electronically.

I see freight to Cali on occasion, I wouldn't say steady though and it's always cheap, sub $1.50.
But freight is notoriously cheaper going in than out...

You know and we all know the only reason to "hate" eLogs is guys don't want to run legal. They can't make a living with 14 hours a day due to far too many factors to list here. They'd rather work like slaves than work decent hours for good money. Again, we've heard all the arguments against them, and the bottom line is running legal is no problem for plenty of successful drivers that work with decent companies and customers.

First off, know it all, you're wrong. Your assessment of reasoning behind why guys wanna run Paper is ridiculous.

My truck is a 2000 with 99 build date I'm exempt from ELD. I run both. Winter time I haul propane and have to run a ELD.

Summertime I pull a RGN and stepdeck, I run a paper log. Over 85% of my loads are oversize....I have to run legal because of provisions. Have you ever considered some guys dont need a babysitter and just actually prefer running paper? Ain't got #### to do with being a criminal or outlaw like you suggested.

My guess is that you dont have much experience or youre just lazy and jelious of the guys that run paper so you refer to them or their company as "outlaws".
