What kind of APU’s do you all have.
I have trips evolution with 6500 hours on it and all I’ve had to replace is the alternator other than routine maintenance.
Knock on wood.

Most of us have the Carrier ComfortPros. They can be a bit touchy. Mine needs new glow plugs again actually. But I'll be at the terminal Friday so not stressing.
-
Carrier apu's suck!!
arrogant steve, CannonballAA and Kamkor Thank this. -
So yesterday I'm at Colton and I hook up to my trailer and another JCT driver comes out and says did they tell you about the trailer?
No...
Yeah it's got a flat...
Grrrr-aaaate...
Tires flat off the bead. So I hook up the trailer air high idle my truck so the air compressor is working faster, find a piece of pipe for leverage and pull on the tire until I can't hear air escaping around the bead. What do you know...it airs up.
A little later another driver sees me and asks why I'm so dirty because tires aren't exactly clean. Tell him what I did and he says why not just wait for road service it's not your trailer.
I said because now I have a choice of where to go to get it fixed (nail in the tread) instead of waiting for someone else to come to me. It's not my trailer I'm not saving money personally but I am saving time, which is more important to me at the moment.tallinthesaddle4life, MachoCyclone, Jarhed1964 and 1 other person Thank this. -

These Comfort Pro's aren't great. We've been lucky with ours. It has stopped on us twice, luckily all was under warranty. Can't remember what was the 1st issue, but 2nd issue was a refrigerant leak and at roughly same time, the control panel in bunk went out. About 1500 hrs since the last issue and I am always scared this thing will stop on us again. Approaching 3000 hrs on unit now.
Also, PM service on these things, 400-500$ for an oil drain, is outrageous!MachoCyclone and CannonballAA Thank this. -
Camera sensors and processors that run them are really incredible these days. Between the camera phone and mirrorless camera race, things have gotten crazy good.Kamkor Thanks this.

what's crazy is this is software that did this because I'm still on the pixel 2 someone just was able to repackage the camera app from the pixel 3 for install on older units.CannonballAA Thanks this.
