2018 Pete. Torque arm bolts sheared off at 40K, Starter went TU two weeks ago at 52K, replacement starter having issues at 52.5K. Bloody thing spends more time in the shop than on the road.

And I'm the dumb arse who's switching to nighttime linehaul next week because all the relief drivers are a bunch of whiners who don't wanna do it. Someday I'm going to stop being a nice guy. I totally am. Like any second now...

 

How long do you have to be on vampire shift before you can go back to days? Apparently at my barn most new drivers have to stay for minimum 5 years

 

Naw, man--I'm a P&D driver, all days all the time. Our one LH guy went on vacation and they can't find any LH guys on the whole I-17 corridor who want to step in, so it's just for three nights. I technically don't HAVE to do this, but I'm doing someone a favor. Because I'm a sucker.

 

I'm such a piece of sheet. I just deliver my freight and go home.

Ain't nobody got times for favors! I gotta pwn some noobs after work.
