The fish is called Delta Smelt. It is an endangered 3 inch fish. They let out billions of gallons of water from reservoirs every year to keep this fish viable. I am hearing they are working on legislation to limit each Californian to 150 gallons per day per capita. No more green lawns, no more green gold courses for that matter, certainly no more ag industry....

Same thing it always needed ... Cheap labor. California sells the myth of helping the poor while maintaining the the largest income gap and the most regressive tax structure the country.

So California is importing a cheap labor force from other states? The facts I learn each day astound me...

I keep meaning to make a video of my old coolant leak and where it was and a simple $0.50 zip tie fix for it. There are some electric lines running along the same path as coolant lines at the back of the DEF tank that chafe each other. It was there that I found the coolant leak. It was not covered by warranty. To prevent it from happening again I zip tied the electric lines back away from the coolant line so they will not rub each other.

Well apparently they need every truckload of stuff I pulled out there twice a week while at JCT, including pork, they need the paper and packaging that almost every dry van pulls out there repeatedly, and yes, I've even pulled clothing and drinking water out there.

Want to cut that all off?

And if course it's leaking from a fitting on the motor behind the fuel filters. And TA won't do anything with parts coming off the motor. So, gotta deal with it til I get back to Ft Worth tomorrow to go to Freightliner.

    Ha!

I was out in CA several times in the Corps, but then lived there for 8.5 years ending in early 2008. I couldn't WAIT to get the haydes out of that place, especially SoCal. What a toilet.
