They had some great baked chicken there. Haven't been that direction in a while, haven't seen any baked chicken in any pilot on my route. Pilot food is yuk!
Did have some great fried chicken at Osseo, WI travel center though.

I try to get and go as quick as I can. Unfortunately i have a reefer so with the def and everything else it might take a few mins. I've fueled and put def in a few times, and have to restart my Pump because the jack wagon ahead is taking a 30min break. So those who come behind me I'm sorry I take a few mins to fuel and go.
-
They need to have a sign that says If this clock reaches 30 minutes you will be towed,
and have a wrecker waiting. If people want to be idiots, run them out of the business. -
Well I don't know what to say man. I thought you were one of the 3% out here trying to set an example of how to think about someone besides ourselves. For those of you who didn't see it Scottie67 parked before the fuel pump went inside for whatever came back out to find a guy stuck behind him I think trying to get on the scale. Then pulled up washed his windows. Never pumped a gallon of fuel. I'm a fan of yours man but that's the kind of "princess entitlement" as you like to call it behavior that's wrong this industry.
-
I just ran across another youtube video you did and the title was "entitled princess truckers" showing trucks parked at the fuel island not getting fuel and taking 30 min. breaks. Gees Scottie that's like a cop texting and driving. Why would you make all these videos and then you do it yourself.

I went in to use the restroom as I had to go really bad. I had to park behind a truck getting fuel (all fuel islands were backed up with 2 trucks each. I was there to meet a friend and when I came out of the restroom he was right there and honestly forgot about my truck parked out there. The guy wasn't blocked from getting into the CAT scale by me; only by his lack of driving skill.

Every one of those guys you filmed on youtube and the hundreds of trucks we all get stuck behind blocking the fuel pumps have a reason too. To me there's no excuse for it. I NEVER park at the pump. If nothing else for the simple reason I'm afraid of getting my ### kicked or worse shot after walking out. BTW now I know why this parking at the pump has become so rampant. The new drivers are being trained to do it. The guy you were with was a rookie so when you guys walked out together in his mind "oh ok this is what everybody does". Trainers are doing the same thing.
IH Truck Guy and JonJon78 Thank this. -
Park at the pump I won’t do, BUT in the wee early hours I WILL pull through to yellow line and park to go inside to use the restroom.
Now if my husband is awake and I pull in I will go use the restroom knowing he can move the truck.
Just the other day we pulled in to a loves got fuel, cleaned windows, washer fluid in reservoir. Guy in front of us asked if we were in a hurry because he had 5 minutes left of his break. At least he was polite enough to let us know even though there were plenty of parking spaces in the middle of the day. -
So what’s the etiquette?
I wait my turn. I fuel. I pull forward. Do I have 5-10 minutes to use the restroom or grab a coffee?
I usually ask the driver who just pulled in behind me at the pump. “Hey man, I’m going to grab a coffee do I have 10 min?”
No one has said ever said no...
What’s do you think, is that cool?scottied67 Thanks this. -
Or if drivers could opt to use the mom and pops, or smaller chains instead of the busy corporate ones. In Knoxville, I'll just use Speedway for fuel. I can get food cooked to order and fill up in a fraction of the time those clocks were showing.
