I'm always amazed the amount of work people do to be lazy or to cover stuff up.

Gotta love it when a consignee makes a liar out of you. I'll explain.

Yesterday, had a load that delivered at Wal-Mart in New Caney, Tx at 1522. They average 4hrs, but have been known to be as quick as 2hrs and as slow as 8hrs.

I get a preplan to pick up in Waco the same day at 2100. I call the office and explain that I probably will be late for the pickup and why. So, the office says ok we have time and will just reschudule the load for in the morning so we don't have a late pickup.

I get to Wal-Mart and they have me out right at 1700. I could have made the 2100 in Waco afterall. But, knowing my luck, they would have taken 4-8hrs if I hadn't called into the office. And then, I would have been late.

There's a reason I don't make fun of drivers who lock their keys in their truck..

And that reason is... I don't want to talk about it.

    Ha!

I really wish I could have back the roughly $800 or so I "would" have spent if I had locked myself out over the years.

Here … I'll make you feel better.

Got out of the truck, locked it and realized I left my keys in the truck. 2 hours later and $300 poorer, I get back in the truck, look over and notice that passenger door was unlocked.
