Electronic logs require a different way of thinking and driving it all boils down to planning aheadflood Thanks this.

Maybe it would be a problem if the newer generation of drivers would learn to TRIP PLAN. Out of the over 20 years I’ve been driving I’ve only had to park on a ramp once. Ramp parking IS NOT SAFE OR LEGAL.New/OldSchoolTrucker89, Voodoo Pyg, flood and 2 others Thank this.

One time I got caught in a torential rain between PA and NY state line. I was directed to park on a ramp by LEO's. The interstate flooded. The stateline was under 3 ft of water. That ramp sleep was the best I ever had in a truck being I was scared poopless coming up on the area! Is that so wrong? Why speak in absolutes? What is wrong today might be appropriate tomorrow.
Mtn Gal, New/OldSchoolTrucker89 and IndianaF150 Thank this. -
