Guys serving USBP, TSA, police, US CUSTOM were trained to recognize lie. By how you answer dumb question. This is why question is dumb.
This is first. The second is if you lied and he decide to check your citizenship you already got reason to be detained.

His avatar happens to be the Military Battle Flag of the Army of the Northern Virginia as I see it. Nothing else. There be plenty of history in that. I was able to discover that certain records were destroyed by the Union Army facing Richmond when researching my lineage about the 1863 time period. The rest of them were in Maryland uncommitted to either cause due to the State's political situation as being unable by acts of Pres. Lincoln to determine it's own situation.

I did not write this to make politics at all. Just responding one time only regarding avatar situation. It's more of history for me than politics or anything else.

I'll weigh in on this, not sure why but everybody has their opinion. Border checkpoints 100 miles inland from any border are a huge waste of taxpayers dollars and accomplish little. Yes they have been deemed legal by the Supreme Court but that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. We are headed down a slippery slope with these types of infringement on our liberty along with with DUI checkpoints. I feel the gubment is slowly eroding our liberties by taking these baby steps to keep track of it's citizens....what's next, home inspections in the name of (whatever feel good bs propaganda). If you really want to catch illegals/drunks/criminals, whatever, do the police work and quit herding us like sheep into checkpoints and questioning citizens that have committed no crime or suspicious activity.

 

Good police work became eroded when the (((aclu))) attacked profiling for the effective policing method that it was.

 

Agreed - I always thought they were pointless, but I don’t know what criminal activity they actually interrupt/stop or prevent.

Sometimes I’d answer “No”, and show documentation, other times I’d lie. Same result - down the road I went.

Agriculture check stations , especially for an empty flatbed, on the other hand - total waste of my time.

 

Shouldn’t the “trainer” be riding in the passenger seat? No room with all that crap in the way. Both the driver and “trainer” should have to #### slapped out of them. Thanks for sharing.

 

I’d turn that ####er into Swiss cheese. If more people eliminated criminals instead of making excuses for them this world wouldn’t be such a bad place.
