well maybe it will keep people off the road making it a little easier for ya. I wouldn't want to be going thru Balt or Wash tomorrow morning for sure.

Question picked up a load of cross ties... how much more weight can be caused when they are soaked from snow melting.

If they're treated it should be minimal. Untreated could add a couple hundred pounds per section.

Pretty good, I checked the weather several times throughout the day and figured I'd start getting hit hard around PA/MD line. I was right. But from there I could assess the situation with places to stop ever 15 miles give or take. MD, WV, and VA all did a great job on 81, it was looking good. I stopped for fuel in Tom's Brook and decided since they had parking I was taking my 10 hr there, let the heaviest snow pass, give them a chance to clean up, and roll out at 5 am before anyone else. It was a great call, roads started getting bad after I called it a night and by the time I hit the road at 5, they were beautiful. I was unloaded in under an hour, and on my way.
