Traveling through WY in this storm?

You might be waiting awhile.

Huge storm coming in from Cali.

 

80 in Wyoming is constantly shut down during the winter. It never ends. Crazy.

 

Where are you trying to get to? Sometimes the extra miles to go around are worth not sitting in WY for a few days.

 

These states are really trying to protect everyone now so they just close the roads, If you are one of the first to get by in a closure you will be passed by the wild ones and be stuck again when they do the friendly pile up. US-30 sometimes gets you by.

LOL. “Travel limited to local residents only”. In other words “you dumb ### truckers from Florida and who otherwise don’t know what you’re doing on snowy roads in the wind, stay put. And the rest of you drivers need to also park and keep the greenhorns company and run the BBQs and sell the beer”.

 

West bound I80 appears to be closed due to a HazMat Spill... Or at least thats what I get from this



Id guess that the local authority request for closure is to keep laramie from being overrun by trucks and no place for them to park.
