    Hello,

I've been job searching lately and narrowed it down to two companies. Similar positions, home time and pay. So looking for advice from people who work there, used to work there, or seen them alot to help me decide which one is better.

Feel free to just give an opinion on either one to help out or compare and contrast. Thanks.

There's a reason these companies have ads all over the place. You know like the green one.

Central Oregon is a fairly good outfit. They've been around quite a while and are part of the Daseke (sp?)Group.
I know a couple of guys who drive for them and they don 't complain too much about it. I think they've both been there over five years now.
The money isn't the greatest but they've always been paid on time and any discrepancies were handled promptly.
The equipment seems to be well maintained.
Home time is decent if you live on the I-5 corridor or anywhere on 97. The drivers I know live in Corning and they're usually home every weekend
You better like to tarp. The majority of the loads I see are covered.

I had never heard of them before. Didn't know they advertised everywhere.

Tarping all the time gets old fast, Koch offered me a dedicated run east to west.

COT maintains their equipment but you will tarp alot. Unless you get a curtain van. They have some unusually methods that are advantageous to the company and not so much for the drivers. Good luck in your travels.

COTC is reputable. I personally don’t like mint green but they are reputable.
