I was kinda in the mindset that the 3 wraps saturated in oil did a better job than the OEM paper filters did.
But my silica numbers didn't move on my oil samples, always been a 3 or 4. I bought my fleet air filter because at 3 months I thought the paper was horribly dirty and I hadn't ran in any overly dusty places. Now I wash them out about every month or so and sure beats paying $80+/- a pop. And I saw 2-3/10 mpg increase. Just breathes better...

I was there over Christmas and new years . I scheduled service work on the truck for that time. Took 2 loads on the Jan 15th and 17th Came home Friday and sitting till the 22nd for my next load. Today I will take grandsons up to truck and shovel the snow off the trailer and around the truck.

I stopped by the house for the weekend and said screw, ripped the carpet out of my living room and laid wood down

Steel wheels? A good wire brush attachment on the end of a grinder. Then just paint them like you would a frame rail. Good quality primer followed by good quality paint.

Anyone have issues today uploading a file?

If it breathes better, it's because you've opened something up. Using the same dimensions in the intake, the only way to breathe better is to reduce the media in the filtration area. Like swapping mufflers, if it's louder and flows more, there's less to the new muffler than the old/original.
I ran an '05 GTO for a while with a K&N air intake on it. After about 3 weeks of driving (daily, before trucking), the MAF would throw a code. Every time I tore it apart the entire MAF screen was caked with the oily crud coming past the filter. Switched back to a stock box and didn't have that problem again until I switched it to an OTRCAI made by Vararam, although it wasn't as pronounced as with the K&N. And like you, I noticed some MPG gains and a good difference in the butt dyno with the Vararam.
That's my experience with reusable oiled filters. I'll put them in front of a 5k GM engine, but not an engine that costs 24k to inframe.RStewart Thanks this. -
I didn't think the fleet air filter was an oiled filter like the K&N. Of course I could be wrong since I've never ran one.

You over oiled the filter
