I do this a lot in our yard, sometimes a trailer sits for weeks before I have to use it and I can't get it out of it's hole. throw a triple on, hook it inside/outside and out she comes. sucks laying in the snow to get that inside done up...but sometimes the hard way is the easy way.

Might try tire socks. They are very fine mesh 'chains.' Imagine woven metal cloth.

Problem is that it is easy to forget about them. They do not make a lot of noise. If you get up to any sort of significant speed, you will destroy them fast.

You went out and got two litters of Kitty's?
So you got about 6 to 10 baby kittens out there trying to help push your truck out of the snow ? Wow they must be strong.

I had two pickups offer to tow me out of a hole, before I explained I had 41k in the box, the right front outside drive impacted on the bottom of the trailer, and the left landing gear leg impacted on frozen gravel.

For some reason they lost interest.
