Walmart here I come 2.0

Just got the info for orientation. It'll be at the DC in Bentonville, apparently. Flying in to XNA and going from there.

What do they do with you for a whole week? I'm expecting the normal orientation stuff, of course. Paperwork, Smith System (or a blatant ripoff thereof), road test, etc. Is it all that, drawn out over a longer period of time, or do they do more with you than the usual stuff?

Anyone else around here going to be down there next week?

 

I have goal stickers on my windows. But i didn't put them there. Nor do i need a sticker to remind me how to drive a truck...

 

What happened in Johnstown that the safety guy, a router and more people left for....tractor supply co transportation?

 

Truck where I presently work has those nice GOAL stickers. They're pretty handy at reminding me that I have to Get Out And Load. I'm not going to miss pallet jacks.

 

Is Drosser still with Walmart? I read thru the entire thread a couple of years ago and even applied when I got frustrated with my LTL gig.

 

Last we heard he was, but that was sometime ago.
