If they did then we wouldn't waste so much money on claims each year. Majority of AM dockworkers are new folks with hardly any experience. The ones with seniority don't want to come to work at 4AM everyday.

I give this Sygma driver A+ for backing to the Krispy Creme from a pretty busy street during the day. I had to do that once with a van and I was sweating like a blind lesbian at the fish market. Nothing like a bunch of 4 wheelers watching you back in:oops:

Had a rough one like that in Butte that I had to back a 48 ft into once or twice a week.

It's the white building on the right with the four wheeler backed into the dock. Easiest way in was blindside while blocking off two lanes of moderate to heavy traffic.

You really had to eat your Wheaties during the winter sinces you are pointing uphill from the starting position and the dock also angles up.

That doesn’t look too awful bad if you have a straight shot. At least you can hang out in the center turn lane and wait for a break in traffic.

Center lane is super helpful. I have a couple of stops on my routes that require it . The one that @Fuelinmyveins pictured looks fairly stressful. Those are quite a lot of cars .

Those accessory and redelivery fees are some serious leverage that people take for granted. I remember I had two customers that did require lift gate. I talked to their employees one time and I said it loud enough so the nearby owner could hear me "no Jim, I actually don't charge you guys for the lift gate. So far you guys help me out by getting me in and out really fast and not burning up my clock . I like to return the favor a bit to leave off the charges".

It was my passive aggressive way of saying don't lolligag on me and I'll save you some money in return.

My current employer does not do any type of redelivery or accessory charges. I had one customer that was 45 minutes each way out of route. On my third attempt I had to lift gate his stuff cause he was too lazy to switch out the stinger on the forklift.

Wow got sent to Wyoming for extra run. My normal run had a avalanche caught on camera I-70. Should be on the news.
