My Father used to buy cork soled shoes from a company named cats paw?
Don't even know if they are still in business but incredibly slip resistant -

Not sure if they'll work or not, but I like to fly fish, and I have a pair of special boots with felt soles. They don't slide at all on the slime cover rocks in streams. Not sure how they would work on a frosty aluminum floor.

I’ve never found a pair of cheap boots that grip well. Finally bought a pair of Red Wing Ariats and am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. $200 dollars and worth every penny. They grip even on the fuel islands that feel like ice with the cheap boots.
Tall Mike Thanks this. -
