Yep and if you had TP available it was a good day. But Gail was always smiling and happy at the (driver) bullet proof window she sat behind. Sad but true...security glass and doors between the drivers and dispatch.. What a mess.

I dunno. I had to cancel orientation so I am back at square one. I tried their orientation way back in 2015 and didn't care much for them then and sure it won't be any different. I'm sick and tired of these companies to be honest. Clean record and only can get a call back from megas. Everyone here just keeps saying they suck, this sucks, you can find way better. Yeah right! I might just pull the trigger and go Western Express.

Do What you got to do. They are both entry level companies. Good luck.
Rocknroller4 and Eggroll'n Trucker Thank this. -
I personally am not a fan of the new pay plan. Yes it does settle out every calendar month, however, they took away accessorial pay except for hourly local work.
It's basically their flat rate pay.
By the end of this year into the next, it will be mandatory that every driver will be on it.Rocknroller4 and smokey12 Thank this. -
They are great for starters but working there beyond a year or so proves to be financially pointless. New drivers under the new base pay plan are lucky to clear $600 a week. Then once a month they throw in a few extra hundred bucks that they owed you anyway. Have fun with that in Wyoming in January.Rocknroller4 and Eggroll'n Trucker Thank this.

Gail was in the window since about 2006. She worked in recruiting in 2004 when l started there.

If you have a clean record driving and otherwise, and a few years experience, I don't see the problem. Put together a good resume, and get it out there online. If you want to avoid "megas", which would be very smart, then you have to dig a little. Think outside the box. If you just fill out apps on big recruiting websites you will get nothing but big fleets.Rocknroller4 Thanks this.

May has issues, but I cannot imagine in my wildest dreams that they wouldn’t be better than Western Express.Rocknroller4 Thanks this.
-
It’s TBD. At least when I worked at WE they didn’t have cameras in the trucks and the trucks could go 65 mph.Rocknroller4 Thanks this.
-
May - No cameras AND 61 mph. May wants to make sure you don’t miss any important road signs. At 61 you can read even the really long ones!smokey12, kemosabi49, Eggroll'n Trucker and 2 others Thank this.
