Well I made an expensive and stupid mistake today.... Running up to Seattle area from TX. All's going well, until I get into Oregon and the first weigh station is open........and then it hits me!!!! I forget to call to get my Oregon tax permit.
$440 fine!!!! Don't be stupid like me
Expensive mistake, but guaranteed that won't happen again.

I always had them get me one when it was time to renew. But that's ok, Oregon needs your money.

 

The Oregon tax is different, if you look in your permit book, on the back side of the Oregon authority letter is the instructions on how to get it BEFORE you enter the state.
I knew better, just kinda slipped my mind.
