But obviously not often enough to figure out it might be a good idea to check the fifth wheel before throwing it in gear.

LOL Apparently not, but then again, the way she put it it generally happened in their yard, and was other drivers she knew playing tricks on her. She figured it was one of them that just happened to come through while she was there. She did stop before tearing up anything and dropping the trailer, I have seen folks do a lot worse. lol

I watched a smoking hot 30ish year old woman at Jubitz a couple years ago pretending like she was having trouble lowering her landing gear. There must have been 10 guys there pushing each other out of the way to help her. It was embarrassing. We men are such simple creatures.

Then this morning I saw the usual. A 70 year old fat guy with more back hair than Bigfoot in the Love's bathroom with his shirt off in front of the sink giving himself a sponge bath with wet paper towels and blowing his nose into the sink.

I actually stopped and talked to her that’s how I knew she had been driving 30 plus years and that she got it from her daddy whom was a truck driver

    You old stalker you. lol
I once helped wire up a temp switch on a ladys reefer unit at a truckstop in OK city iirc. she was in trouble with the reefer not running and couldn't find anybody on a sunday to work on it, she had had to take over the truck as her husband had fallen ill for the long term. Lady was probably pushing 50, but seemed to be doing alright for the most part.

I recall one in particular a O/O for sure.

Long story short. She docks with the 4 of us to lump the trailers, well, all she ended up doing was sit on a small pile of pallets by the plate while 4 of us got her empty in 20 minutes by hand. Smiles and giggles to each of them. You think they were smitten and happy to help. I found it amusing myself because I had my own gal in those days so it's easy to see how the others would donate their time to get her stuff off the trailer. It took me about 4 hours to unload by comparison, big pallet into small pallets by the dozen. One of those kinds of places.

I remember another who was having some trouble with her breaker bar vs a big coil, I come up saying Sir you need some weight on that? She turned, a little thing and said that's Ma'am to you. Right. Fair enough and we got that coil settled. It was about two inches out of it's cradle on one end and once we forced it to settle chaining for her was a breeze. She wasnt that much, maybe 90 pounds all up. But as far as Im concern she did a good job with that load.
