I'm being spoiled. First I had loads going from Washington to Florida, which was an outstanding trip. Now I make my way from Florida to Illinois, where I swap loads with another driver, then head back to Florida again.

 

I was told some drivers have been a little upset about getting reloaded so quickly out of Florida. So they asked if I would prefer getting reloaded ASAP or hang out in Florida for the weekend. I opted to be reloaded.

Good problems to have

 

Hows is Magnum treating drivers these days? Been recommending them to new drivers and a few experienced. Dont say much to them about the company, due to the fact that everyone has different expectations. I tell them about how i was treated. I was treated well. And i left on good terms. Be safe out there.

 

Being treated good, always home on time just got another raise and they doubled layover to $150.

 

Treating us well. Keeping busy.

My biggest complaint would be the speed limit sign reader technology has too many false positives. If I were to go somewhere else, having this technology could be a deal breaker for me, unless they come out with some kind of software update. But the positives far outweigh this annoyance here.

 

Took home time in the beginning of May. Here's what I've done since then:

- Illinois to Oregon
- Oregon to Montana
- Montana to North Dakota
- North Dakota to Florida
- Florida to Illinois
- Illinois to Florida
- Florida to Virginia

Currently working on Virginia to Minnesota.

Just got my next load added on from there, but the destination has slipped my mind. It was just a quick phone call so i'd have to call back and ask... But I'll get it when it's sent in the computer.

Has anyone been to Aberdeen recently? I know that load became quickly unpopular when the on-site parking went away. I haven't been there in a pretty long time. Not sure if we dropped that load. Not that I want it, I'm just curious.

Coke Columbus is now 1 hour ahead of appt., and no overnight parking. Changed layout and parking is tighter than gnat booty. Just sharing. Pulled up at 0430 for 10 am p/u and was told I couldn't park.

 

Wow that sucks. I used to always park there.....
Park at the Eldorado Scioto Downs Racetrack and Casino on 23....It’s only a few miles from Coke. That was my back up spot in Columbus....
