Union drivers, that's funny! What next, you want someone to spoon feed you breakfast cereal while you're still in the bunk.
-
I don't know if you realize this but Wal-Mart will continue on with or without fleet drivers. Replacing the whole fleet with contractors would just hit them financially for the most part. But yes, please vote in the union. I would love to have a higher position on the seniority board.buddyd157 Thanks this.

that's right, and it's due to contract negotiations and flexability the companies demand.
it also takes away from the union of defending a driver in a crash of saving his job, with just maybe a suspension or a reassignment, (for a pre-determined amount of punishment time) to being fired, since now, the company had all the ammunition it needs to do so.
some [people] talk union, but never talk about the dark side, only the side they wanna see. -
yea but big brother brown said no

Can we get that negotiated into the contract?Scoot 1971 Thanks this.

That’s not a guarantee yet, the union has objected now they go fight with each other. It will probably end up happening anyway but at least if it does there’s a process by which they have to go through to can your ###. Guys over at Saia have them, but no protection. The company is now using it as a weapon.

If enough employees form a coop, pool the money and buy the company, fire the current senior management and change the rules....
strike one for the ant.
