I never said it was near the strip. Its 15 miles away. If someone cant afford a $100 round trip Taxi ride while leaving their truck unattended in Las Vegas for a week maybe they shouldn't go.
He said he was looking for something on the strip but if not it needs to be pretty secure, so my recommendation was leave it in a paid parking spot at the Petro...
That's what I would do. I really dont care let him leave it at Wild West for a week hopefully his hood will still be on the truck when he returns.

Just park it at the pawn stars shop. What could possibly go wrong????
-
It depends on where you park it. I’ve seen hoods taken out in various different places, even in those where there was plenty of parking to back in. The safest place to park the equipment is at an actual storage facility where many RVs end up, but as someone already mentioned, they may not offer less than 30 days. No truck stop is really secure, even the ones with a security guard patrolling the lot or with a guard shack. They almost always will state that they are not responsible for any sort of theft or damage.

I realize that but once again it was MY recommendation to him... If you guys have a better option post it for the man.

Thank you all for the replies. I was told by security at the Westgate, where I'm staying, that i can park in their west lot. For free while staying at their hotel.
And just in regular fashion, i blow a trailer tire on my way to Vegas. Only a 4 hour wait for the truck to arrive. hooray!!!D.Tibbitt, Farmerbob1, JonJon78 and 1 other person Thank this. -
You can park in The D's lot if you're staying downtown ( 4 queens, Golden Nugget, D, couple others around there.)

I hope that security guy realized how long your T/Trailer is. Did you check the sat view on google maps?

Just be sure about the secure part. Certain parts of Vegas are overrun with homeless people and druggies who have nothing to lose if they get caught breaking into your rig. Then you have the "graffiti artists".
Lepton1, CorsairFanboy, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yup. The TA south of Vegas has homeless people and lizards running around. The Petro up north is a bit safer in this regard.Lepton1 Thanks this.
