Las Vegas express lanes replaced by HOV lanes

I used to like going through Vegas because I could just go through without stopping and wasting time. Oh well.

 

Vegas is the only place in the country that I know of where the cops actually still allow us to use the far left lane to bypass the slower traffic, even though it does say HOV now. I'm not recommending it to anyone, and I don't do it anywhere else, but I'm playing dumb until they do start enforcing it because of the sheer amount of idiots repeatedly cutting us off. I was using it every night until recently and I passed cops every night with no issues. I've seen ODFL, UPS, Andrus and various others still using it so we're all playing dumb I guess. How long it will last is anyone's guess.

Vegas is as bad or worse as Commiefornia when it comes to people feeling entitled to use what little space you can create for yourself so they can get home 3 seconds faster. I know some drivers may have had different experiences but I've never had a Nevada cop give me problems about anything, unlike the super troopers in Tennessee who live to harass truck drivers.

Yup and this week will be terrible for drivers. We’ll be laying out the final layer of asphalt on the i15 near/at the spaghetti bowl near the i15/us95 interchange. It’ll be around the clock work for a week. 2 lane at a time will be shut down I believe.

California has no connection to the traffic inside of Vegas. European tourists are making traffic. they come and stay in Vegas. it's very affordable for them. Going somewhere within EU will cost 2x more. They all rent cars because it is cheap. They drive slowly because they don't want to deal with police. Slow, not rushing,... Speed limit is 55 they will drive 40 for sure. I am in Vegas at least 2 times in a month. I see them everywhere.

 

If free speech is still a thing by then, your great grandchildren will be able to write papers on how the mass exodus of the middle--ish class from the liberal nirvana that is California changed the American way of life. Look at Washoe and Clark county, they're run by former californians elected by former californians....bec because...you know they did so well running California. Anyone that moves out of California should have to give up their right to vote.

 

And deport all californians who have fled during the last 10 years. Lol
