I was thinking that too, but I did a quick search online and apparently most prisoners are required to work or face further consequences. I hear they get paid under a dollar an hour. I suspect the prison takes most of it from the employer. Hopefully that’s enough to pay for their living expenses in jail.

I disagree. If you are attacked you face the consequences. There’s one simple thing that gets lost in these discussions. Don’t interfere with peoples lives in a negative way and you won’t be on the receiving end of whatever that person deems necessary. Pretty simple.

Now if someone throws a banana at you, of course don’t shoot. But you have every right to break their fingers or knock the teeth out their mouth. Especially if it’s an unripe banana.

 

That’s the issue I’m addressing. What standards should we have for civilians and police officers? Can any civilian just open fire on someone because they feel threatened? I suppose a lot of this goes into individual state laws and federal laws.

 

The reason most shootings have so many rounds fired is 2 reasons.

I just looked up the place he was at. Using Google maps was able to find the no truck street and the legal truck route... took less than 5 mins too!
