    In electrical box under hood by airlines. Open the box lid and inside you can find which fuse is for trailer stop light.

    Did you open up your 7way the pigtail plugs into? Ths pigtail could be good but your 7way receptacle could be bad. 7way test lights are nice but it's best to check the voltage too.

    I have a similar problem on my 2016 Pinnacle. Below 5° I have intermittent issues with my trailer brake lights. I have traced it down to one of the safety sensors (the ones that cause your warning light/buzzer/beeper to go off when pressure is low). Mine are under the hood against the firewall, if I warm them up with my bare hands, my lights usually work. Not sure if Volvo is like Mack (since they're the same company) but my truck has both breaker and a fuse for trailer brake lights.

    Hooked to a different trailer at the yard an it worked.

    Another driver told me if issues like this happen again we can take the electrical plug off the rear if bobtail and put a peice of wire from the top left to top right hole and piggy back each one...for a fix

    Bad ground?... Ive seen similar problems on fertilizer chassis trailers... We double ground the lights... 1 through the pigtail, 2 to the trailer frame, each taillight independently.

    Doing this cut down our light problems by 75%

    I think it was just that trailer honestly, I checked all fuses an found a dome light fuse toast...but that was it.
