Just heard on xm radio a hiring event for Ups Parcel feeder sleeper team. Full time union employee not seasonal. They are really trying to push this. Still this is unheard of.
SidewaysBentHalo, LtlAnonymous and McUzi Thank this. -
I'll drive what ever the company buys since they pay for the truck and fuel.Cardfan89, McUzi and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

Holy crap. Is that an assigned truck? If so, I'll never complain about my slipseat partner being a dirty old booger ever again.
Bob Dobalina, road_runner, McUzi and 3 others Thank this. -
It's a wildcard city truck that anyone could end up with. Believe it or not, it's not even the worst one we have.Cardfan89 and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

Makes me VERY happy that I don't slip seat much anymore. Except on Mondays when I float. Other wise I have the same truck 3 days running each week.
And its always the SAME truck, week in, week out.
We do have a KW, and Pete. But they're both sleeper trucks.
All other tractors are Freightliners.
Some of our straight trucks are Sterlings.
We used to have a Western Star sleeper cab. But they sold it two years ago.road_runner and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
Fear not, we’ll still hear about the ‘shortage’ of drivers. Glad i leaped on when i did. Should be moving up the seniority food chain soon. Rough week sitting at the house. LolCardfan89, LtlAnonymous and misterG Thank this.
