Yes but there is a need for a fall back because of corrosion. it is an exposed surface under that bolt so I would put two straps there.

 

Would Dielectric Grease be a good idea ..it prevents rust..

 

I would but till i het some i just use a spray on white grease..

 

Quick question for you...maybe I missed it but where is the bottom strap attached to?? I see where it is on the door but not so much where it attaches to on the cab. Sorry I'm a newbie when it comes to the CB world.

 

Both sides of door hinges of both hinges..1 side from door side to cab side of hinge....Do both hinges...

 

Hey did you keep the plastic washer behind the screws or did you remove them??

 

There is no plastic washer..Washer are alumium but cab side has plastic inserts...

 

Door hinges dont use screws...
