This maybe a bit messy but has anybody ever thought of spraying the windshield excessively with WD40 or similar, not much sticks to it...lol...at the least it may buy you some time. As an alternative a couple fake moving rattlesnakes might do the trick to.

Geez this thread is so old the rent a cop that took things too far is probably out on bail already.
I worked briefly in security and I learned real quick that other than being a bullet sponge in a bad scene you have less rights than a criminal.
Considering this is in the Allentown/Philly area, what's the over under on a fatal hit and run by somebody fleeing the scene with one of these still firmly attached to their window?
Unfortunately a good quarter of my business is retail set up (store opening construction & outfitting) so every time some "genius" architect designs the "perfectly truck proof parking lot" it makes me want to deliver the load to his office and tell him to figure out how to make the delivery himself.stayinback and lilillill Thank this. -
I did a stint on Swift's Walmart account. If there's one thing I've taken away from it, it's the master list of all "layover" locations in the franchise (read: the ones that allow Walmart trucks and 3rd party contractors on Walmart's behalf to park overnight on location for HOS breaks). I also learned that final mile and P&D are NOT things I enjoy doing. Too many store-level idiots to appease or else go over the heads ofmjd4277 Thanks this.

I don't like wallmart anyway! they just suck the life out of a town

Same here. On Marten Walmart dedicated accounts there’s a list of Walmart locations that are okay and those that are “no fly zones” for truck parking. The ones that don’t allow it are usually because of local ordinances beyond that Walmart location’s control. Those stores you try to get in,deliver and get out in a hurry and try to find a safe haven or get back to the distribution center ASAP.

Forget the strip of sharpened metal. I'd use a length of fishing lineKB3MMX Thanks this.

I mean, I've had to park at a Walmart at about that time. The 300+ spaces within a mile and a half were either full or angles I dare not try anymore, leaving the Walmart as my only option because of ####ing course it would be, but I at least had the courtesy to chat with the ASM about... and demand their decision in writing, with a clearly legible signature. Gotta cover my own ### when the clock says to pull the yellow knobKB3MMX Thanks this.
