Ive seen maybe one truck with a bike on the catwalk. Not ideal.
I have evaluated that question myself so many times. Ultimately I just stay with the rig dead or alive. Exercise took care of itself. Just need a cranky dispatcher on one end and a profane dock boss on the other making unreasonable demands.

Folding bikes work well for OTR drivers. They'll fit inside the tractor and stay clean from road grime.
A few avid bikers on this forum use Montague, but they're expensive. Walmart has cheap ones and can get them at the store or order online. Ebay has them also.

A while back there used to be a thread titled how to carry your bike on a truck or something similar
Can't figure out how to link it but it was " how to carry your bicycle on the truck"Last edited: Sep 8, 2019
