This is why I have a sense of accomplishment just for sleeping overnight at a truck stop in West Memphis.

I've delivered to amazing products numerous times. He's mister "no delay". No matter what, he writes no delay on the BOL. Even though it's a 3-4 hour offload.
Bud A. and slim shady Thank this. -
Hahaha! The only reason I spent the night in West Memphis was because I got there at 1330. I was hoping to get unloaded and east of Memphis before my clock ran out. Appointment was 1100 but I wasn't given the load until it was impossible to get there on time and told dispatch so. They said, No problem, they should take you if you get there by 1400, they work until 1600. Another guy with an ungoverned Pete who loaded after me got there first.
The guy said, "You come back tomorrow! We stop at three! Be here at 6:45 and we'll start unloading you at 7:00! " Everything was off by 8:15 -- they couldn't believe it unloaded so fast. "No delay. Missed appointment" written on the BOL.
Also, the older guy studied and actually kept the SDS during the paper signing party since I told him I wasn't opening the valves without a suit on. He said, "It's just soap!" I just pointed to the placard, 1824. 12.5 pH, Activity 27. Yeah, uh, I saw some pictures once, not taking the chance that some part of the plumbing on a 27-year-old trailer or their obviously abused hose or pump won't come loose this time.
Caustic (sodium hydroxide) is no joke, even if you tell me it's "just soap."ChicagoJohn, slim shady and Lilj Thank this. -
Yeah, we have drivers who have gone there to deliver and will be on time and sit there 5-6 hours, and then tell the drivers that there is no delay, I’m glad I’ve never been there yet, knock on woodChicagoJohn, Orange713 and Bud A. Thank this.
