Werner loses another huge lawsuit

Didn't most of us start off our career. Somewhat unsupervised.

After all. Trainer needs sleep too.

We couldn't drive between the hours of 2 a.m. to 5 a.m.

 

Whoever is saying Werner will not pay the 40 plus mil is wrong.

In light of all the recent accidents what judge in his/her right mind would let them off?

 

When I trained in 08-09 there were no restrictions. All on the trainers to develop an individual plan for each student. Most just took out driving like a team.

The first lawsuit mentioned, to me yes werner caused the accident. But the second lawsuit where the other vehicle crossed over and hit the truck..to me thats crazy. Suing the semi company because they didn't stop due to poor conditions, when they caused the accident? Mayby they should have stopped. Few years back ,we used to joke about, someday truckers will get a citation for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Looks like that time has come. But hey, werner was first in paperless logs!

 

The big uglies are in a tuff spot. They need as many drivers as they can get to become big uglies but as soon as they are there here comes the lawsuits. Feel sorry for Swift , I think they get sued every day. They have 80 incidents a day on average and 1 fatality a week on average that is a lot to deal with. Werner sucks just like Knight does. Everything is your fault , EVERYTHING.
