12.7 to 14 litre

I did exactly that - BW turbo, Full tilt manifold and a tune - runs a lot better now.

I still like the N14 better, but it did improve performance.

 

Do you have to have facebook to view it? It'd be good to look at and gain some knowledge for myself.

 

14 liter will stomp a mud hole in a 12.7 and yes there are some dd4 14liters

 

The best place to start is with a 14L HK DDEC 4.

If that's not possible (because they're extremely rare), and you want to build huge power, the best best thing is to take a DDEC 5 block, crank, rods, pistons and put a DDEC 3/4 head on it with a DDEC 4 ECM. Then you can use the larger N2 injectors and, if you want, a marine cam.

 

Is there a good site on building detroits anywhere? I have looked and never found much info.

That’s what I’m thinking, why not add the wristpin Oiler tubes when it’s OH. Whatever’s involved, can’t be much.
